The Auto Air Conditioning Trainer With Original Dashboard should have minimum requirement as below:

 

1.0 GENERAL SPECIFICATION / DESCRIPTION

1.1 Advance trainer for automotive air conditioning systems and it realistically simulates the complete air conditioning system as found in today’s automobiles.

1.2 The unit has a mobile bench, refrigeration circuit, heating circuit (optional), A/C control panel and car original dashboard air handling system includes air duct, blowers and vents, which are exactly as per original factory installation on the vehicle.

1.3 This unit is the best solution for training technicians in the operation, service and maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of factory installed automotive air conditioning systems.

 

2.0 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

2.1 The set comprises:

2.1.1 Automotive A/C compressor with drive clutch.

2.1.2 Condenser with fan, evaporator, thermostatic expansion device, receiver dryer, pressure transducer with switch, temperature sensors.

2.1.3 Refrigerant pressure gauges, access valve (suction line and discharge line).

2.1.4 Original air distribution duct from original car dashboard.

2.1.5 Blower fan assembly.

2.1.6 Electric drive motor (Variable speed drive for the 2.2kw electric motor.

2.1.7 Power supply & A/C control panel.

2.1.8 Instrumentation control panel consists of rpm meter, volt meter, ampere meter.

2.1.9 Points digital reading temperature meter.

2.1.10 Ignition switch, protection ELCB and MCB, and mobile powder coated steel bench.

2.2 Main feature

2.2.1 The trainer is built around a special powder coated steel work bench onto which the components are mounted.

2.2.2 The components are nearly lay out in a manner similar to the original automotive air conditioning components layout in engine compartment.

2.2.3 The trainer uses real automotive parts such as an air distribution duct from the original vehicle dashboard with system controls, integral evaporator with blower, complete vent system for passenger area and windscreen area.

2.2.4 The controls include the vent direction selector, blower (fan) speed and system operation switches.

2.2.5 The compressor is driven by an electric motor to replace the car engine.

2.2.6 An optional variable speed control can be added to the system to simulate different engine rotation speeds.

2.2.7 Suction and discharge gauges are included to monitor refrigerant pressures.

2.2.8 A built in 12 VDC power supply provides power to the compressor clutch, system controls, evaporator blower and condenser fan.

2.2.9 A 7 points digital temperature meter is available to monitor the system operational temperatures.

2.2.10 An optional heating simulation system consists of water tank, water heater, heater thermostat for controlling water temperature and heater core is available upon order.

2.2.11 The Trainer comes with an experiment manual covering operation procedure, theory of automotive air conditioning, step by step guided student’s experiment procedure.
