PROGRAMMABLE ECU CAR

DESCRIPTION

An engine control unit (ECU) is type of electronic control unit that controls a series of actuators on an internal combustion engine to ensure optimal engine performance. Generally the car has an ECU that already programmed and can not be changed because it is very complex.
Now Al Najjah present a car with special category of ECU which are programmable “ANPEC- 1610 PROGRAMMABLE ECU CAR”. In these situations, ECU can be wired in and reprogrammed by the user with a computer connected using a serial or USB cable, while the engine is running.

ANPEC-1610 Equipped by 3 Control Unit :

A) 1 Programmable Electronics Fuel Injection (EFI) to regulate the timing and pulse width modulation of injection in order to improve torque, fuel consumption and exhaust gas emission
B) 1 Programmable Electronics Stability Program (ESP) to control the direct yaw moment in order to reduce yaw rate error, skid factor, and individual brakeforce regulation
C) 1 Programmable Electronics Auto Transmission (EAT) to control gear shifting in order to optimized drive torque in every vehicle speed.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE

  • For training & Research
  • Students/Users can understand the role and function of ECU on car
  • Understand how to change the settings of Programmable EFI, ESP, and EAT
  • Able to identify the impact of Programmable ECU changes
  • Able to understand the component parts contained in the programmable ECU

ADVANTAGE

1. As a engine dynamics model to research in the field of engine management system (EFI)
2. As a vehicle dynamics model to research in the field of direct yaw moment control (ESP)
3. As a power train dynamics model to research in the field of auto transmission (EAT)
4. Sensors and actuator voltage can be print and display out as real time data or database
